Disney Live: Mickey's Music Festival - An Incredible Show

Last month my family had the pleasure of attending Disney Live at The Q in Cleveland, Ohio. This had to be one of my favorite shows this year. It was a blast for the entire family.
When we first arrived, I picked up our tickets from the Will Call office and we headed to our seats. I suffer from anxiety attacks and I hate heights. It is even worst at The Q because of how steep the seating is in the upper levels. The upper level seats literally scare me half to death. It feels if I move one inch, I will fall to my death. We get to our seats and I discover I was given upper level seats for the review. Within 1 minute of sitting down, I was in a full blown anxiety/panic attack. If you have ever suffered from this type of attack you understand how horrible it can be and how it makes you feel like you are having a heart attack. I took one look at my husband and said “Let’s Go! No time to explain, just grab the kids and come one”. Once we got out of the seating area and to the lobby, I told them my plan. I surprised the kids and went and bought better tickets for the show. So we ended up 3 rows from the stage! The new seats were completely awesome! Now I can sit with ease and enjoy the show.
The night was amazing for not only the kids for us as well. Of course the show started with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. With them on stage, you know you can expect a good laugh. There is something incredible about enjoying these events with your kids and the characters we grew up with!
Ariana really loved the Aladdin part of the show. It was really her first time seeing anything to do with Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. The magic carpet was great too!
Me and Lily really enjoyed the Little Mermaid and her sisters! I was a sight to see. They did a beautiful job and it was amazing to watch on stage. My personal favorite part was watching Sebastian sing “If you like it, you better put a ring on it!” Some parts were a little over the top but all in all it was a great show.
Joshua was over the moon when the toys from Toy Story hit the stage. His eyes were completely glued to the stage the whole time.
Having seats so close to the stage had some bonus added fun for the kids too! Like having “Asteroids” (Which were really just big beach balls) thrown out onto us for the audience to bounce around and play with. That was a huge hit with all of the kids and even the adults. It drew everyone in and made them feel like part of the show. The kids loved getting covered in confetti at the end of the show too! They even took some home lol. They made us wait an extra 10 minutes just to leave so that they could collect some of it to take home with us. Which means, I cleaned up confetti at home for almost a week.
Disney Live was really an incredible performance and we will be going back next year. If you haven’t been to a show, I highly recommend going to one. It is really a great time for people of all ages.
